Boarding

Give your horse the most loving home in Western PA.

Boarding Basics

Here’s our boarding info at a glance.
  • Stall Boarding $400 per month per horse
  • Paddock Boarding $300 per month per horse
  • Two lessons per boarder per month (required) $100 per boarder per month

Here’s why we require lessons for boarders:

  • So that each horse that boards with us receives guaranteed exercise and socialization time.
  • So that our staff can spend time with boarders and their horses, plus learn how best to serve them.

Barn Hours

We encourage you to visit, groom, and ride your horse any time, for as long as you like. We are open every day from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. (no closures unless for weather concerns).

Boarding Documents

You need two documents to board your horse at Horse ’N Soul:

Boarding Agreement: This document outlines our boarding services and your obligations.

Coggins Test Results: The Coggins test is a blood test that detects Equine Infectious Anemia. We require a negative Coggins test from a licensed veterinarian for each horse you board with us.

Your Boarding Documents

Each client receives a personalized document directly from Horse ‘N Soul, so contact us today to get the process started!

Boarding: Our Philosophy and Approach

Horses are one of God’s most majestic creatures.

Horses are awe-inspiring. They combine size and strength with beauty and grace. They have a regal bearing, quiet dignity, and great power. And amazingly, they are wired for connection with us. Since ancient times they’ve helped us become better workers and better people.

We encourage pasture boarding.

Horses are designed to be out in the field for 23 hours every day. It’s where they love to graze, roam, and horse around with each other (it’s a figure of speech for a reason!). We honor their nature with spacious, lush paddock boarding and nearly 120 acres of pasture.

We give horses quality and quantity time.

Horses are social animals who need consistent, focused attention from their owners and trainers. We ensure that our boarding clients visit, groom, and exercise their horses regularly. All our staff loves our magnificent four-legged friends too. We check in with them regularly.

We give horses superb care.

The exceptional care we give the horses under our roof (and sky!) spills out of our love and respect for them. Our boarding accommodations and services are top quality, and our veterinarian is part of the Horse ’N Soul family. We ensure that each horse is healthy from mane to tail and head to hoof. They are bright and alert, and happy to see you!

Welcome Home.

If you’re an owner who loves horses as much as we do, then you’re already part of the family.
