Pam Vennare
President, Owner, Trainer
Pam is the founder, owner, and primary trainer at Horse ’N Soul. She’s always been at home in the barn and the arena, and she’s always wanted to share the amazing benefits of riding with the world.
After studying business and psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, Pam began shaping a career out of her passion for horses. She earned certifications from the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA), the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) International, and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
Today Pam is Horse ’N Soul’s energetic visionary, meticulous steward, and hands-on leader. She serves her students, clients, team, and horses around the clock, teaching riding lessons, facilitating therapy sessions, organizing clinics and shows, training the horses, and caring for every inch of the barn. Above all she nurtures relationships with each person and horse on the property.
Pam also takes ongoing courses in counseling and equine-assisted therapy. Her purpose is to continually build Horse ’N Soul as a safe and joyful place for people to strengthen their leadership and communication skills, physical abilities, mental health, and confidence. She helps people apply what they learn through horsemanship to all areas of their lives.
Pam grew up in Bethel Park, PA, and now lives in Eighty Four, PA, with her husband of more than 30 years. The couple has two daughters and eight grandchildren.

Amanda Rojahn
Director of Operations
Having Pam as her mom, it was inevitable that horses would be a part of Amanda’s life in some capacity. First taking the reins at just three years old, Amanda quickly developed a high level of comfort and confidence around one of God’s most magnificent creations. While her earlier years in the saddle were mostly spent riding for pleasure, in her late teens she became competitive in the Hunter Jumper discipline, earning many blue ribbons with her incredible Grand Champion, and first horse-love, Nash. Amanda has been a part of the Horse ‘N Soul team for more than ten years, utilizing her gifts of administration, communication, organization, event planning, and attention to detail. She loves seeing countless lives touched and changed through Horse ‘N Soul’s riding and therapeutic programs. Amanda currently resides in Canonsburg with her wonderful husband, keeping busy with their three amazing boys.

Jen Urksa
Barn Supervisor

Jen Urksa
Barn Supervisor
Jen joined the Horse ‘N Soul family as the barn manager in September of 2014 and brought with her a vast knowledge of the day-to-day care of our equine partners. Jen has owned and rescued horses for more than 30 years and has spent much of her life riding both western and saddle-seat. Jen shares her love and care for the horses with every student and boarder to help them grow in their own journey with the horses, and she is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who asks. Her utmost care for and focus on not only the horses but also our entire facility shows her heart for the work we do both in our riding lessons and our therapy outreach.
